Kodandaram Targets ‘Aa Naluguru’ In Tollywood
Telangana JAC Chairman, Professor Kodandaram Reddy met Minister for Cinematography of Telangana state Talasani Srinivas Yadav and requested to solve the film industry’s problems. He mainly complained against Four Producers monopoly in the industry and also their involvement in screens issue. ‘Four people are having maximum number of theatres in their hands and not allowing for release small movies because of these monopolism small film makers facing problems’ he said. Also requested to recognize Telangana Film Chamber and offer the benefits to these artists also.
Beside these he asked minister to abolish existing Slab system and suggested to implement tax system on the basis of number of tickets sold for a movie. Finally he pleaded at minister to help and artists from Telangana to encourage local’s talent.
Well, this is not for the first time or Kodandaram is the not first one to complain against the Four of Tollywood. In the past days also many people like Dasari Narayana Rao, Tammareddy Bharadwaja and others voiced against the monopoly of theatres in Tollywood. But the bad system not yet changed till now. Because of this cruel and cunning behavior biggies content less films coming out and becomes flop, while good story small films remained at labs. We hope by this time minister will respond positively towards majority people’s demand.
